David has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, is a Registered Nurse, a Certified Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse (CWOCN) and a
Certified Wound Specialist (CWS). David’s experience includes many years of management experience before becoming a nurse.
David has also worked for several years in home health with his practice focusing on wounds. David is the Chief Financial Officer.
Deborah is a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Tyler. Her experience as a
nurse includes 10 years in home health. For the past seven years, she has been actively involved in pediatric home health, developing
a pediatric program for a local home health agency. Deborah is the Administrator.
Deborah wanted the opportunity to make a difference not only for families of special needs children, but also for the nurses who work
for them. Her vision was to focus care on children up to the age of 21. With David’s support, she opened Exceptional Home Care on
November 4, 2002. On November 5, 2002, she admitted her first patient.
Exceptional Home Care offers nurses the opportunity to bond with their patients, to work autonomously and to become strong patient
advocates. At the end of the day, nurses are able to go home feeling like they have made a difference. They are not only there to see
their patients reach new milestones; they are also very involved in helping them reach those milestones. Nurses complete their shift
with the knowledge that they have made a difference in a child’s life.
